Robert Botha
Director: Legal Expert and Project Advisory and Management Specialist

Robert is a founding member of INMISO CONSULTING and has over 25 years’ working experience in the commercial legal environment. His inclusion in the team represents a strong basis of experience and achievement in using the law to protect and advance the interests of blue-chip corporations at the highest level and in building and managing high-performance, technically superior legal teams. Other areas of expertise include management of legal operations, risk management and compliance, commercial mining law, arbitration (local and international) and Labour Law (including retrenchment negotiation and process).

Prior to his appointment at INMISO, Robert held a number of key legal and commercial positions including Business Development and Client Relationship Consultant at Hogan Lovells SA, Deputy Head of Legal at Anglo American, Head of Legal at Kumba Iron Ore and Legal Manager at Deloitte.  Robert is a Legal Graduate of Business and Legal degrees from the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1995. He furthered his education by obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg in 1999 and completing the Anglo American Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch in 2007.

Bronwynne Mouton
Corporate Governance, Commercial and Contractual Law Consultant

Bronwynne Mouton is an innovative and efficient person with strong analytical and strategical abilities who obtained her LLB degree in 2010 and went on to obtain her LLM (Mercantile Law) in 2013.  She was also admitted as an Attorney with Right of Appearance in the High Court in 2014.

After numerous years of litigation practise at Macintosh Cross & Farquharson, she specialised in Corporate Governance, Contractual Law, Companies Law and Commercial Law and currently advises a select group of corporate clients with focus on the establishment and development of corporate structures as well as tailored, full-service corporate and commercial legal solutions.

She is a specialist in contract drafting, legal due diligence studies, feasibility studies and preparation of opinions on all corporate and commercial matters.  She further specialises in corporate services including, inter alia, facilitation of contract negotiations, statutory enquiries, corporate advice and finding tailored solutions for a variety of commercial and corporate needs.

Grant Nelson
Commercial and Intellectual Property Consultant

Grant joined INMISO CONSULTING as a consultant in 2019 after accumulating more than 25 years’ working experience in the mining sector. In 1994 he was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa after obtaining his degree from Rhodes University.

He has held various legal management positions at both Johannesburg Consolidated Investment Company Ltd and Anglo American where amongst other things he implemented and managed the global intellectual policy and strategy. His areas of expertise include surface rights, the resolution of restitution claims, the securing and protecting of intellectual property rights, commercial risk management and general litigation.

Johann Raubenheimer
Legal Risk Management Consultant

Johann is a legal practitioner and member of a Legal Mining Team as risk management consultant. He obtained BCom (Law) and LLB degrees at North West University and further studied Economic Analysis of Law, International Arbitration, Maritime Insurance and Transport Law at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. He has completed a Certified Course in Mine Health and Safety Law for Mine Managers at the Centre for Environmental Management, NWU as well as a certificate in Sports Law at the University of Pretoria. Johann is admitted as an advocate since 1999 and joined the Johannesburg Bar.

Johann’s recent experience includes incident investigation and representation of amongst others, ArcelorMittal SA, Stefanutti Stocks Basil Read, Mitshibishi Hitachi Power South Africa Stefanutti, Oricol Environmental Services (Pty) Ltd and Exxaro Group of Companies in terms of the MHSA and OHSA as well as conducting strike management and wage negotiations on behalf of some of these companies.

To this end his involvement in the industry is not only reactive to any risk posed to client’s license or ability to operate, but he advocates pro-active identification of assessed risk through comprehensive auditing, with a view of identifying gaps in the clients system and management of these risks in assisting clients to close the loop on any non-compliance, together with internal and external seminars and tailor made training courses for client’s legal appointees presented on and off site.

Anelia Groenewald
Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary

Anelia Groenewald obtained her LLB degree in 2011 and was admitted as an Attorney. She was also later admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary and started her own practice in 2012 at the age of 27. She has been working in the conveyancing field for over 10 years, pre and post articles. She acts for corporate and private clients including listed mining companies, private real estate developers and private individuals.

She is currently appointed on a preferred panel of attorneys for listed mining companies who she assists with property transfers, subdivisions, consolidations, registration of servitudes, township establishments, property due diligences and property negotiations. She also does resettlement negotiations and recently joined a project for one of the mining companies assisting the permitting team to ensure that their mines comply with all required legislation to operate legally.

She is an expert in real estate and in addition she also does notarial work by assisting companies with anything that needs to be notarially executed, from private notarial bonds over movable and immovable property to mining rights, servitudes and for the private individuals, ante nuptial contracts. She is passionate about her work as a real estate expert.

Richard Du Toit
Human Resource Specialist Consultant

Richard is a senior human resource professional with solid international experience. Richard was the former Group Director: Human Resources, Operations and Services at a major construction company where he was responsible for all human resources operations and services across the entire company including construction, engineering (SA and Middle East), manufacturing (SA), Intertoll Road Toll Concessions (SA and Eastern Europe) and was overseeing and managing 16 000 employees.

Richard specialises in people aspects of major change initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, employee communications and engagement, leadership assessment, talent management, compensation and benefits, executive development, restructuring and employee relations.

Richard obtained his BCom degree in Industrial Psychology, Business Economics, from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University). He furthered his education by obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Management at Henley University (UK) and has further completed the following programmes – Advanced Labour Law Programme (University of South Africa), Development Programme in Labour Relations (University of South Africa), Foundations of Executive Coaching (University of Cape Town), Corporate Executive Board (HR Executive Development Programme) and Management and Leadership Development courses.

Richard has got international exposure in that he worked on projects situated in Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Hungary, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Nigeria, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia).
